My passion and motivation is Front-end Development. I enjoy combining the art of design with the art of programming, and taking UI/UX designs and creating HTML, CSS, and Javascript that brings a website to life. I primarily focus on helping to bridge the gap between a Photoshop file and the elements that are needed to make my client’s websites responsive, reactive, and successful. While I have a lot of skills when it comes to creating Custom Themes, Templates, and web pages that look great, here are some of the things that I specialize in: Developing user-facing features Building reusable code, and libraries that can be used repeatedly Providing expert advice on the technical feasibility and level of effort needed to convert a UI/UX design into a functional web page Optimizing front-end applications for the maximum speed and best scalability Assuring that all user input is validated and formatted before submitting it to back-end server applications Collaborating with other team members, stakeholders, and owners regarding the best solutions for a design’s goals I am also quite proficient with regards to HTML5, CSS, Sass, and building Responsive designs that are Cross-Device and Cross-Browser compatible. I utilize BDD tools like Behat and BrowserStack to test and validate that my templates look great regardless the device a user is using to access my customer’s websites. While developing for customers I utilize Git and Git-Flow branching techniques to make sure that I have a history of all of the work that is done in order to get a website launched. This also includes using Test-Driven Development in order to make sure that all of my solutions are the best possible quality for my customers when I deliver them. I Typically help others with the following CMS projects: Custom Drupal 7 themes Custom Drupal 8 themes Custom Wordpress themes Custom Laravel Templates Converting Templates from One platform (like Wordpress) to another platform (Like drupal) Customizing pre-purchased Templates or themes from sites like TemplateMonster, ThemeForest, etc to meet my customer’s branding needs.
