I’m a Senior IT Infrastructure and Support Engineer with 25+ years of experience working across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, Linux, DevOps, and IT management platforms. My career has taken me through a wide range of technical environments, from traditional enterprise infrastructure to modern cloud and containerized platforms. I’ve worked in both corporate and freelance roles, including more than 10 years working remotely with US-based companies and distributed international teams. My recent experience has focused on enterprise ITAM and CMDB platforms, where I worked at Tier 2/3 and escalation levels, troubleshooting complex customer environments and helping identify the root cause of problems across multiple layers of the technology stack. This has included Linux appliances, PostgreSQL, REST APIs and integrations, VMware, AWS, Azure and GCP, as well as Kubernetes and other infrastructure technologies. I particularly enjoy troubleshooting problems that sit between systems rather than neatly inside one of them. Whether it’s an API integration that doesn’t behave as expected, a discovery process that produces unexpected results, a database query that needs to connect information from different sources, or an infrastructure issue spanning several technologies, I like digging into the details and figuring out what is actually happening. Over the years I’ve also worked with automation, scripting and DevOps technologies, including Python, Bash, Docker and Kubernetes. More recently, I’ve had the opportunity to work with AI-powered tools and reporting capabilities in the IT management space. I find the practical application of AI to IT operations particularly interesting—not just as a technology, but as another tool for solving real-world problems. I’m comfortable working independently, communicating with both technical and non-technical people, and navigating situations where the documentation doesn’t quite match reality. After more than two decades in IT, I’ve learned that knowing how to troubleshoot is often just as important as knowing the technology itself. At this stage of my career, I’m interested in opportunities where I can combine my infrastructure background, troubleshooting experience and broad technical perspective with new technologies and challenges.
