I have been running a sole accounting practice for the past 9 years providing the following services: - Full-cycle accounting (A/R and A/P, preparing daily/month-end journal entries, performing GL account and bank account reconciliations, preparing month-end financial statements) - Setting up accounting software, including chart of accounts - Setting up and tracking inventory/capital assets - Notice to Reader Financial Statement Preparation - Analyzing financial statements and preparing financial reports for management - Budget Preparation - Financial accounting and reporting software implementation. My experience includes financial software implementation (Prophix), several integration setups (such as between QuickBooks Online and Amazon, QuickBooks Online and BigCommerce, Shopify and Xero, Stripe and Xero, Payment Evolution and Xero). Through my work experience and education, I have gained a sound understanding of accounting standards/practices and have worked with several accounting software including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero (I am a Xero Certified Pro-Advisor), Sage 50 (formerly Simply Accounting), AS 400 and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel skills. I am a highly self-motivated, detail-oriented and analytical person with a keen eye for accuracy.
