Hello, I’m Sandeep. You’re probably seeing “AI automation expert” everywhere right now. I get it. AI is the new shiny thing, and everyone has suddenly become an AI consultant. That is not really my story. I started programming in the early 2000s, back in the C++ days, when software was far less forgiving and a missing semicolon could ruin your entire evening. That early foundation taught me how systems actually work, not just how to connect tools together. Since then, I’ve spent over two decades around technology, product strategy, business transformation and large-scale execution. I worked with companies like Barclays and Merrill Lynch in New York, completed an Engineering degree, a Master’s in Technology Management from Widener University in the US, and an MBA from the University of Rochester. But the real learning came from building, consulting and working closely with founders. For many years, I worked with startups and growing businesses as a consultant. My role was often to sit with founders, understand what they were trying to build, pull the idea out of their head, challenge it, structure it, and turn it into a practical strategy, product roadmap, go-to-market plan or technology execution plan. I have built companies, worked with founders at early stages, helped them think through business models, and have also been through the process of selling companies. So when AI started becoming practical for businesses, it did not feel like a completely new world to me. It felt like the next evolution of everything I had already been doing: systems, automation, workflows, customer journeys, operations and product thinking. That is what led to FlipBytes. FlipBytes started as a way to help businesses understand and use AI practically. Not “AI for the sake of AI,” but AI that solves a real business problem: missed calls, slow follow-ups, repetitive admin work, manual CRM updates, poor lead qualification, overloaded recruiters, disconnected tools and teams wasting time on work that should be automated. Over the last few years, my team and I have delivered 25+ AI and automation projects across staffing, healthcare, real estate, education, wellness, sales and customer support. Some examples: ------------------- - For a global staffing firm, we built an AI-powered RPO automation system that reduced candidate time-to-shortlist by 79%. - For a tutoring centre, we built an AI appointment and follow-up system that recovered around $2,000 per month in lost revenue. - For a medical sales team working across 100 clinics, we built AI-powered CRM workflows that reduced manual updates and made customer information easier to manage. - For a multi-location cosmetic clinic, we built an AI receptionist that answers calls 24/7, handles treatment questions, qualifies leads and books appointments directly into practice software. - For AI Bridges, we designed Mia, a local voice-first AI avatar that helps people with disabilities create designs by voice and send machine-ready files to a laser engraving/CNC machine. I also built a YouTube channel focused on AI automation under Sandeep Kaistha - FlipBytes, which grew to over 9,000 subscribers. Alongside that, we ran an AI accelerator program where we taught business owners and builders how to create AI agents, automations, voice AI systems, and practical AI workflows. The program received strong community feedback, but as client project work grew, we shifted our focus back to implementation. After that, most of our work came through direct clients, YouTube, referrals, and off-platform relationships, so Upwork does not yet show the full scale of what we have built recently. That is why I am now bringing FlipBytes back onto Upwork. I am not here to take every project. I am looking for clients who want a serious, practical AI implementation partner. Someone who can understand the business problem, think through the workflow, design the right architecture, and then build something your team can actually use.
