Hello, my name is Gopi Krishna. I have a PhD in Cancer Nanotechnology, and I'm also a graphic designer with seven years of experience in science communication. My expertise includes designing journal covers, infographics, graphical abstracts, and other communication tools for scientists and academics. I'm a self-taught designer with a scientific background, which allows me to understand complex data and capture core ideas. My goal is to communicate knowledge in a way that's easily understood by the right people. During my PhD studies at the Amrita Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine in India, I created a new polymer-based nano-sized drug carrier for targeted delivery of anti-angiogenic drugs to treat breast cancer. I completed my PhD in 2019 and published five research articles. Since 2015, I've been providing freelance scientific illustration services through various marketplaces and have helped over a hundred clients from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I'm open to any job related to scientific illustrations, including journal covers, infographics, medical and surgical illustrations, and more. My key strengths include creating infographics, video storyboards, PowerPoint presentations, posters, graphical abstracts, and other science communication products, as well as 3D cover pages and animations.
