Words, glorious words! I love them and the power they hold. If you're on the hunt for creative copy, you can stop right here. Skill set: FREELANCE COPYWRITER & JOURNALIST: I thoroughly enjoy creating engaging copy for a wide variety of individuals and organisations. Web copy, blog posts, product descriptions – I do it all ... plus a bit of editing here and there. Industry experience: Recruitment, health, medical, sales, IT, business coaching, real estate, design, pets and more. SELF-PUBLISHING: I’ve supported authors with their book marketing by writing book blurbs, media releases and blog posts as well as a little website maintenance on the side. ONLINE BOOKSTORE: I went it alone for a bit and ran my own business; a successful online bookstore (yes, words again!). COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: I’ve worked for a non-profit, fundraising and marketing to help children in developing countries. In this rewarding role, I was a ‘Jill-of-all-trades’ with media liaison, marketing, content production, desktop publishing, public speaking, customer support, customer retention and data entry duties. PERSONAL APTITUDE: I am a highly organised individual who believes in meeting - and exceeding - deadlines. I really do love words and if I'm not helping someone craft theirs, you're likely to find me with my head stuck in a book!
