Many clients come to me with strong subject matter expertise but no clear course structure. I help turn that expertise into a learning experience with clear objectives, logical sequencing, practical application, and evidence of learning. MY APPROACH I begin by clarifying the business goal, learner profile, required performance, and evidence of success. From there, I structure the course, organize the content, design learning activities, build assessments, and develop the materials needed for delivery. I use an iterative design process because serious training improves through feedback, testing, and refinement. The first version should be thoughtful. The final version should be stronger because we’ve checked it against the actual learning goal. TECHNOLOGY AND DELIVERY I develop xAPI-enabled HTML5 learning experiences and cmi5-ready course materials for organizations that want better learning data than traditional completion tracking can provide. I also create LMS-ready materials for platforms such as TalentLMS, Canvas, LearnWorlds, LearnDash, Thinkific, Absorb, Cornerstone, and related systems. Tools and technologies I work with include Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, PowerPoint, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, xAPI, cmi5, HTML5, and common LMS delivery formats. My focus is not simply uploading content into an LMS.
