I'm a mechanical engineer with 12 years of Solidworks experience and over 10 years of manufacturing industry experience in product design, machine design, design for manufacture/assembly. I've also worked on a lot of projects involving industrial automation equipment, such as robots, pick-and-place systems, and material feeding mechanisms. The components I design are usually parts of complex assemblies requiring careful dimensioning and tolerancing to ensure proper fit and function. My hands-on industry experience combined with my broad knowledge of manufacturing processes (see my test score below) are my greatest assets, allowing me to look at the big picture and solve complex design problems.
