Custom App Developer | Turning Spreadsheets & Paper into Tools
I'm calm, easy to talk to, and I tend to get people to open up. That's handy because what I do is talk to people, figure out their use cases, and build custom tools that take the tedious parts off their plate. Usually that's something living on paper, in a spreadsheet, or just in someone's brain. By day I'm a developer and project manager at a healthcare analytics company. I was hired for web development, and now I've got my fingers in just about every part of the company, because I'm willing to say "I'll tackle that." I use AI as a tool in my work, but I stay hands-on: if you ask me how something works, I can tell you where it lives and what it's doing. What I won't do is use AI to talk to you. I read your messages myself and I write my replies myself. You're talking to me. Honestly, I'm happy to use AI these days, but I never want to hand my thinking over to it. Finding that balance while keeping up with the times isn't always easy, but we do our best, eh? I take on a focused workload so I can actually be present for projects.
