Videographer/Video Editor

I have over 10 years of video experience. I'm familiar with producing, ideating, scripting, location recce, talent/crew scouting, videography, lighting, audio field recording, handheld/gimbal filming, video editing, and audio mixing. I started a video channel in 2015 and since its inception, over 100 musicians have been featured, taking place in various countries. Included on this channel was a series called Joes & Jams, where emerging artists are featured in a multi-cam interview/performance format at local coffee shops. Through the years, I developed an interest to branch out into other forms of video work as a way to expand my horizons and refine my versatility. I got involved in projects that include editing sizzle interview segments for an ad agency, shooting/editing an introduction trailer/clip for an online lifestyle magazine, shooting/editing for a music collective, and shooting/recording/editing for a couple short films (one which was recently finished and received a few selections). Most recently, I was in video production for a tech aviation startup. It was a new realm for me and gave a lot of new perspective when it comes to creating compelling content in an unfamiliar sector. It was invaluable and I came out of it a more seasoned video creator. I have worked with a lot of people along the way and believe that I mesh well in a variety of situations. I have a combination of experience, abilities, and a sensibility to do great for many video projects.
