I am a highly experienced professional writer and editor, operating as a freelancer and independent contractor for most of my career. As an instructional designer and developer I have created award winning training materials in a wide variety of media, disciplines, and industries. I have also: provided copy editing services for a major textbook publisher; scripted more than 150 hours of instructional and documentary video; developed web content for a major insurance carrier; published a number of articles on training, performance, and instructional technology; ghost written major portions of several nonfiction books; edited doctoral dissertations and articles for peer-reviewed journals; written grant proposals and project proposals in compliance with government RFP requirements; and more. I was among the first female undergraduates to attend Yale, earning a B.A. with a double major in Drama and English in only three years. I also hold an M.A. in Corporate and Political Communications from Fairfield University and completed my doctoral coursework and certification in Instructional Technology at Columbia University.
