Greetings! My name is Gabriela, I am an illustrator based in Chihuahua, Mexico. Since I was little I was always attracted to art and stories, and once I discovered the world of illustration I wanted to be part of it. I studied a degree in Graphic Design because it was the most affordable at the time but I didn't let that stop me. Thanks to my desire to learn and the kindness of the people who share their knowledge on YouTube, I acquired the necessary skills to offer my services, choosing Photoshop as my main tool. Through my work my taste for vibrant colors and the use of textures to enrich images is revealed. Before becoming a freelancer I had the great experience of working at McCANN México creating illustration content for Cheerios México. I learned about teamwork and communication processes that were useful in my projects with Grupo Edelvives Publishing House. Since I began this journey I've been working mainly doing children's books with independent authors, but now I dream of working with publishing houses and seeing my illustrations in many libraries around the world. Fantasy, landscapes, talking animals, humor and heartwarming messages are the core of my inner child. I am currently working on my writing skills so I can soon share my stories with others. I love storytelling, if I weren't an illustrator I would surely be an actress (I acted in commercials in Mexico City!), or I would found a puppet company.
