Professional Proofreader, Editor, and Writer

I have worked as a professional proofreader and writer, in various capacities, for more than 10 years. I'm a stickler for the proper usage of grammar and mechanics. I love writing, and I love editing. I'm happy to work on small or large projects. I work out of my home office, so I have a lot of flexibility and availability. I hold two bachelor's degrees from College of Charleston; one is in English, and one is in corporate communication. I can write and edit just about anything, from press releases and marketing collateral to academic papers and business documents. Thus far, I have published a book of poetry with plans for more in the future. In my spare time, I enjoy creative writing, reading, and painting.
