Brita A.

I build custom operations software, GIS applications, and AI assisted workflows that connect your maps, data, and daily work. If your team is juggling spreadsheets, paper forms, and tools that almost fit, I can help turn that process into a practical system. I'm Brita, founder of Maps + Apps and a Top Rated Plus developer based in Kentucky. I combine geospatial expertise with application development, so your map, database, integrations, and user experience work together. My experience spans public and nonprofit data platforms, aviation operations, marine inspection, conservation field systems, and owned software products. For operations, I connect dispatch, scheduling, fleet and asset records, forms, documents, approvals, and reporting. The goal is a clear flow of information between the office and the field, with appropriate access for each person and a useful record of what happened. For GIS and field work, I build with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, Survey123, Field Maps, Experience Builder, dashboards, and custom web maps. Projects can include mobile data collection, asset inspections, parcel visualization, spatial analysis, and Python or ArcPy automation. For AI and automation, I build API integrations and workflows for research, document processing, and decision support, with source evidence and human review where needed. I also help diagnose and repair React, TypeScript, and Supabase applications, from broken integrations and database permissions to unfinished workflows and release blockers. My Community Data, which I founded and built, demonstrates public GIS and disaster information workflows used in real emergency response. My delivered experience also includes aviation operations and marine and conservation field systems. The working demos in my portfolio separately show parcel and 3D site planning, public information and document discovery, career pathways, and AI tool workflows. Each demo is an example of capability, not a claim of a commissioned client deployment. I plan accessibility around the people using the system, including keyboard navigation, visible focus, contrast, readable forms, and zoom and reflow. WCAG targets, testing, and any document remediation are defined in the project scope. My toolkit includes Esri and ArcGIS, Python, Arcade, React, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, and APIs. We start with the users, existing data, and a clear definition of done, then agree on a focused scope with visible progress, acceptance checks, and a maintainable handoff. Send me the workflow you want to improve, what you use today, and where it breaks down. I would LOVE to help you identify the right first step.
