Over the past 13 years, I have accrued varied experience covering sports from youth drag racing to football. With a focus on local, high school and small college athletics, I try to pursue stories that focus more on the people than the action. Covering games is fun too, but I've always felt sports writing provided an opportunity to tell stories about people that were much more interesting than myself. By developing skills in design and photography, I built an ability to tell a multi-faceted story.
