Senior AWS DevOps & MLOps Engineer | EKS, Terraform, AIOps, CI/CD

I help businesses design, migrate, secure, and run AWS infrastructure. And when Kubernetes, a deployment, or a production system goes wrong, I'm the one digging into what's actually happening until it's working again. I'm a hands-on AWS DevOps and Platform Engineer. Eleven-plus years, 𝟴,𝟵𝟬𝟬+ hours on Upwork, and over $𝟮𝟬𝟬𝗞 earned building out cloud infrastructure, running Linux, moving things across platforms, and keeping production alive. I've done it in healthcare, media, and EdTech, including at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sanofi. I lead platform engineering, but I still write the Terraform, review the deployments, and sit in on the production incidents myself. 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 & 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 I've built and run AWS environments of every shape I've needed to — secure 3-tier setups, microservices, serverless apps on Lambda and API Gateway, and container workloads on ECS, Fargate, and EKS. And I've planned and supported migrations like on-premises Kubernetes to EKS, which is its own kind of work: networking, storage, security, backups, validation, and the rollback plan most people only think about once something's already gone wrong. 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗽𝘀 & 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Kubernetes and EKS are where I spend a lot of my time — Helm, Istio, Argo CD, Karpenter, EKS Auto Mode, autoscaling. I automate infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and a fair bit of scripting, and I build the CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD, wrapped in Docker. When something breaks, I follow it down — deployments, networking, storage, resource pressure, availability — until I find the actual cause, not just a symptom. 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 Security for me is about finding the real risks and making them go away without breaking everything else in the process. That means spotting vulnerabilities, judging which ones actually matter, and handling remediation, patching, and hardening. My work has included reviewing Qualys findings, Linux hardening, SSH protection, Fail2ban, firewall rules, AWS IAM, Kubernetes RBAC, secrets management, and patch validation. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 I keep an eye on things through Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch, and I read the logs when they tell a different story than the dashboards. I investigate incidents and performance problems, and I go through AWS usage to find idle or oversized resources so we can cut cost without cutting reliability. 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗠𝗖𝗣 & 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 I've built MCP-based tooling that connects monitoring and operational systems to AI-assisted investigation, so engineers can pull together diagnostic evidence and troubleshoot faster than jumping between a dozen tabs. Separately, I built a personal Kubernetes troubleshooting agent in Python, using MCP and Ollama. It spots failures like CrashLoopBackOff, OOMKilled, and Pending pods and suggests what to try next — without changing anything itself. 𝗠𝗟𝗢𝗽𝘀 & 𝗚𝗣𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 I support the infrastructure side of ML too: containerized model serving, Kubernetes deployments, MLflow, Kubeflow, and GPU-backed workloads. A lot of it comes down to scheduling, resource limits, node pools, and figuring out why a model won't serve the way it should. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 I'd rather understand what's already running before I change anything. I find the problem first, then the safest fix, and I care about backups, validation, rollback, and leaving the thing documented well enough that someone else can maintain it. I'm comfortable owning the whole thing — architecture review, implementation, production troubleshooting, and ongoing support afterward. I'm open to hourly, fixed-price, and long-term work across AWS architecture, cloud migration, Kubernetes, DevOps, security hardening, MLOps, and automation. If you're planning a migration, in the middle of an infrastructure problem, or just want a second set of eyes on your AWS setup, send me a short note about your environment and what you're hoping to fix.
