Emiliya A.

Hello and welcome to Emiliya’s corner of Upworklandia! You’ve probably landed here because you are looking for someone to do a bit of writing for you. Perhaps you have the writing done and want an eagle pair of eyes to scour it for mistakes and eliminate any inconsistencies, maybe do some additional research and fact-checking. Hey, you may even be one of those rare Upwork clients who require a text translated into or from Bulgarian. Well then, step into my office! What you can find here is a writer with over a decade of professional experience in news and article writing. Most of this experience I accumulated through my work for a business information and content provider. (Side note: I left the job in March 2017 so my time is yours now.) As a writer for this company, I covered news related to M&A, banking, pharmaceuticals, and general economic topics. Some of the projects I contributed to required writing blog posts for client websites. As you can probably imagine, the variety of topics was enormous: marketing, health, finance, lifestyle, home improvement, pets, to mention but some. I’ll also point out here that my last three years on the job included doubling as an editor. Before that, I spent almost 13 years teaching English as a second language. My full-time job was at a language high school, but I also taught part-time at the local university. I turned out to be a damn good teacher despite my initial reluctance to embark on this career, but when you love a language and constantly marvel at its riches, you somehow want to pass this love along and reveal its beauty to others. Maybe we should just stop talking about me and focus on you and your project. Do you want an article or a blog post written? Hit me with the topic, your target audience, the style you prefer and a reasonable deadline, and we’re good to go. Are you after a proofreader or an editor? Well then, let’s get your text rid of any subpar spelling, grammar blunders, awkward sentences or a fractured narrative. So there you have it, future clients! You get the writing experience, language skills and professional attitude you seek. Shall we get cracking on your project and make beautiful content together?
