I have a PhD from Sussex University (UK) and worked as a Senior Lecturer in English Literature at the University of Lincoln for 6 years, specialising in twentieth century and contemporary literature, culture and theory. I am an expert in the teaching, writing, and editing of academic & non-academic writing. I have published widely in both academic and non-academic spaces (see link below for indicative publications), and also have fifteen years of experience as a proofreader and editor. I offer attuned and relational editing and writing support, drawing on my expertise as an author of various academic publications, creative non-fiction, public writing and poetry, my longstanding work as a freelance editor and proofreader of academic and non-academic writing, my training as a senior lecturer in literature and critical theory, and my experience as a supervisor and creative mentor In addition, I mentor writers & artists who are struggling with their creativity, looking to get a new project off the ground, or needing support in the completion of a piece of work.
