Daniel W.

Comedy scriptwriter for YouTube and ads, plus book editor and copy editor for authors and professional writers. Hand-crafted, original work in native UK or US English. Note: I also take jobs that aren't humor-based. Just tell me what you're looking for, and we'll make something work. 1. SCRIPTS & COMEDY Hand-crafted scripts tailored to your audience and goals: YouTube, ads, commercials, sketches, stand-up, speeches, brand voice. • YouTube scripts and voiceovers on any subject: If you're looking for original content, you've come to the right place. I co-created Breakfast Serial, a true crime comedy channel I helped grow organically to 150,000 subscribers (and counting). • Comedy writing and punch-up for video ads, commercials, short-form video, and sketches. • Brand voice: launching a brand that needs to stand out? I'll build the voice, write the ads, produce the descriptions, and handle the social media and sales copy. • Ghostwriting and speechwriting for keynotes, galas, campaigns, weddings, and birthdays: Get a speech from a writer who knows how to blend sentimentality with humor and wit. 2. EDITING & PROOFREADING Preparing a book for publication, or polishing professional writing? I'll make it clear, compelling and error-free without losing your voice. • Non-fiction book editing: structural and line editing for clarity, flow, consistency and readability. • Manuscript editing and developmental feedback for authors and publishers. • Copy editing and proofreading: grammar, syntax, word choice, tone, consistency, typos and formatting, in UK or US spelling and to your style guide.
