Curriculum Writing Specialist

For 16 years, I have taught a variety of subjects in middle school in a variety of ways. My main teaching subjects are reading, English, and Social Studies. Along with teaching, I have also worked for a national company helping to write and edit their curriculum. For over a year, I composed lesson plans for U.S. History and high school English courses. I also edited some of their current English courses for errors. For the past 10 years, my aunt and I have written and created video presentations for young students regarding a variety of topics. We began with careers and have moved to education skills. My role includes writing the lessons that accompany the video, whereas her role is in the video creation. I received my bachelor's degree in Childhood Development and Learning with licensure from Maryville College in 1999, and I received my master's degree in General Education in 2002.
