Most training fails for a plain reason. The content is accurate, but it's dense and out of order, and it isn't built around what people have to do next. I fix that. I've spent 19+ years making difficult material learnable. I started as a teacher and community educator in San Francisco and Oakland, then moved into learning design for rail safety at Transport for NSW, financial services at Allianz and FINSIA, procurement and international education. In those settings someone audits your work and mistakes have consequences. That shaped how I work. Some results: ▪️ Transport fNSW: scenario-based rail safety training in Articulate Storyline/Rise, signed off by SMEs, legal and compliance at 100% technical accuracy ▪️ Guatemala: wrote a Year 7 technology curriculum in Spanish for a school and trained the teacher delivering it. Phase 1 delivered in March 2026 ▪️ Tender Mastery: co-founded it and lead the learning design for its 10-course program for procurement and contracting professionals WHAT I DO Learning and curriculum design. Courses and programs built from outcomes, for compliance, onboarding, technical and professional training. Storyboards, scenarios, assessments and the SME conversations in between. eLearning and facilitated delivery. Interactive modules in Storyline, Rise, Genially and Vyond, plus workshops I can design and run myself. Course redesign. I take existing material and make it clearer, better ordered and easier to act on. Pedagogical audits. I check whether a learning product actually teaches, including AI tutors and learning apps. You get a scored rubric and a prioritised list of fixes. Bilingual EN/ES. Native English and Spanish. Spanish-language courses, Latin American projects, and reviews of whether a Spanish version teaches or just translates. Learning platforms. LMS setup on LearnWorlds, and member platforms on Softr and Airtable with Make dot com automations. I use AI, including the Claude API, where it speeds up production, with a person checking every output. I'm based in Sydney and work remotely across time zones.
