Anzhela S.
Web & Mobile QA engineer
Hi! I am a Freelance QA Engineer with over 7 years of experience, specialising mostly in work for startups. My expertise lies in supporting businesses during their critical early years, ensuring they launch and operate efficiently. My Core Work Principles Please review these before reaching out to ensure we’re aligned 🙂 ✅ Work isn’t war. Corporate language is usually filled with metaphors of war: "conquer the market", "target customers," employ a sales “force”. This aggressive mindset frames work as a battlefield, I'm not advocating this method. I value collaboration and peace. ✅ An hour of focus is invaluable. 60 uninterrupted minutes is a higher-quality hour than an hour chopped into four 15-minute sessions. Uninterrupted hours lead to quality time & quality work. Days chunked into tiny blocks are not the best way to work. Rather than discussing everything in real-time, I prefer to communicate asynchronously by text instead. ✅ Meetings are the last resort. Five people in a room for an hour isn’t a one-hour meeting, it’s five hours of collective time — time that’s rarely well spent. I strive to ensure meetings are necessary and involve only the right people, respecting everyone’s time. If my core principles resonate with you, I’d be happy to share more about my experience 🙂 Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated closely with diverse teams, including serving as a QA Lead, where I managed a small team of testers. I have a proven track record of creating and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying potential risks, and enhancing the development process. My focus is always on delivering value that aligns with business goals. What drives me is helping teams ship high-quality software while maintaining efficiency and agility. I value collaboration and ensure user experience is always top of mind. When a customer brings a complaint, there are always two options on the table: “It’s no big deal” and “It’s the end of the world”. I'm there for the customers to not enforce them into taking the “It’s the end of the world” one. Outside of work, I enjoy Argentine tango, racket sports, and pilates. These hobbies help me stay balanced and bring creativity and focus to my professional endeavors.
