Senior Software Engineer

I am an experienced software engineer specialized in the US healthcare industry. I majored in Computer Information Systems at Strayer University in the Washington DC area. My career took me from jobs in North America, South America and Asia. Became CTO of Magnet Technologies in Shanghai and with a small team, managed to secure funding from ChinaAccelerator, which at the time was the equivalent of Y Combinator in China. After running my own digital payments startup in South America and having a successful exit, I was offered a job by Upwork, the corporation behind the freelancer marketplace to work on the platform. As part of the growth team we touched many aspects of the company, always helping drive engagement, registrations and ease of use. I made the switch to the self-funded healthcare industry starting with Marpai Health, where I was part of a team driven to non-public Large Language Models to optimize the way healthcare business was being done. Switched to heavy EDI optimizations at PointC Health and I've been helping automate and integrate processes as part of a merger of several PointC owned TPAs.
