Gabriel R.
Legal Document Specialist | Team Lead | USCIS Filing & Case Records
I've spent four years handling immigration document work for a US law firm, and I currently lead a team of 12 legal clerks there. Day to day, that means USCIS correspondence: receipts, EADs, SSCs, approvals, denials, rejections, signature packets, biometrics and fingerprint notices, U-Certifications, N-648 medical waivers. Sorted, cataloged, and filed to the correct client record in Litify, MyCase, and Salesforce. I set up the document management process at my firm and I run quality control on it now. I also build the tools I use. I taught myself Python and C++ and wrote an automated document splitter and two work-assignment utilities that replaced sorting my team had been doing by hand. I work in English and Spanish, on US business hours. If you're a firm or solo practitioner buried in scanned documents and case files, that's the specific problem I'm good at solving.
