Alberto P.

Italian Architect specializing in bespoke, high-end residential design. International experience delivering custom homes from concept to construction. I am an architect with over 10 years of experience in residential architecture, specializing in custom home design, luxury single-family houses, and large private residences. I deliver projects from concept design and schematic design through design development and construction drawings. My experience includes house plans, permit drawings, zoning-compliant layouts, and construction documentation developed for coordination with engineers, consultants, and builders. I focus on clarity, precision, and buildability, ensuring drawings are accurate and ready for construction. After working with internationally recognized firms such as Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter (Oslo) and Archea Associati (Milan), I relocated to Toronto. I currently work as a Senior Designer at Arup Toronto, contributing to complex projects in multidisciplinary teams, while independently delivering private residential commissions. I also hold a degree in civil engineering, which strengthens my approach to structural logic, technical coordination, and construction-focused design—a key advantage in residential projects with complex geometry or large footprints. In 2020, I founded Alberto Proserpio Architect, focusing on bespoke residential architecture. In 2021, I was recognized as one of the Top 10 Young Italian Architects, an award reflecting design quality and professional rigor. Every project is fully custom and tailored to the client’s lifestyle, site conditions, and aesthetic goals. My architecture is contemporary, sustainable, and pragmatic, with strong attention to context, materials, and detailing. My style is not fixed: while maintaining a strong contemporary language, it adapts to each client’s needs, local regulations, climate, and the specific characteristics of each site.
