Dmitrii C.

I am a Frontend Engineer. I have over four years of experience developing web applications and websites using various technologies, such as TypeScript, React, Redux, Effector, NextJs, Electron.js, Node.js, and Git. One of my proudest achievements was collaborating on a cool internal startup with a seven-member team, crafting an excellent product, and securing funding from Skolkovo Innovation Center, Russia's largest innovation hub. I also completed the MVP version of a large B2B application, being the only front-end engineer on the team, with partial QA responsibilities. I value the practice of writing unit tests, as I have rich experience working with fast-growing companies that often overlook this practice. I also enjoy learning new technologies and tools and applying them to solve real-world problems. For example, I integrated VOSK, an open-source speech recognition toolkit, into an existing project, which reduced costs by 10%. I also introduced quality control tools, identified many errors and bad practices in legacy code, and reduced the number of errors by 50%. I am moving to Belgrade in mid-October, and I am looking for new opportunities and challenges in the web development field. I am passionate about creating user-friendly, performant, and accessible web products that meet the needs and expectations of the target audience. I am also eager to share my knowledge and skills with others, as I have done by delivering two lectures at internal conferences and publishing an article about PWA on the Cossa, a popular online platform for web professionals.
