I'm a seasoned Supply Chain Specialist with over 10 years of experience working in manufacturing facilities in different industries such as: Sheet Metal, Electrical Wire Harnesses and Electronic assemblies. I'm a Mechanical design engineer and hold a double Master's degree in Supply Chain and Purchasing management from Audencia Nantes (France) and Politecnico di Milano (Italy). My first work experience in Supply Chain and Purchasing was in Egypt, working as a buyer for Arcelor Mittal where I was in charge of buying steel metal sheets, hardware, packaging and other outsourced operations. My recent work experience is working as a Senior buyer for Visual Communications Co. where I was in charge for buying commodities worth of 44% of our annual spend that include Plastic Injection Molding components, Electronics, Built-To-Print and PCBs, as well as sourcing new products, developing suppliers and quotation cost/bid analysis. I've extensive experience in project management, some of my recent projects include: 1) While working as a senior buyer, I handled the transfer of plastic injection molds between suppliers located in the USA and China to Mexico, coordinating with our suppliers, engineers, production and customer service team to ensure a smooth transition that didn't affect our customers. 2) While working as a manufacturing manager, I designed the layout of a new facility and supervised construction, transfer and installation of production lines and equipments.
