English - Spanish Translator and Proofreader

I was born in Venezuela, which is a Spanish speaking country, and ever since I was a child I became interested in learning the English language. Right after finishing my high school studies, in 2013, I completed an English course, when I was 17 years old. But just achieving a great score in said course wouldn't be considered enough to say I am proficient in the English language, and therefore I have endeavored to practice my English every day. I regularly communicate with people outside of my country, both in written and spoken form, and this has resulted in me having a broad vocabulary and a great understanding of slang from all corners of the world. I started working in translation in the year 2014. My first translation jobs were for simple documents, like magazine articles or general translation—nothing technical. Until I first translated part of some medical books for a Biology professor at my University. After that, I became more confident in taking on technical projects. Since January of 2018, I have worked in legal translation - e.g. birth certificates, NDAs, waivers, contracts, marriage and divorce certificates, etc, and I would say that I consider myself to have considerable experience in this particular field. I completed my degree and graduated as a Public Accountant in 2019, which means I also have a good grasp of the terminology used in this field. It is always my utmost priority to deliver quality work on time, and I consider myself to be a pretty flexible person when it comes to my client’s requirements. Thank you for your time.
