Will B.

Ever since I was 12, when my favorite teacher Miss Thomas turned me on to “Demon Words” (intriguing, tricky vocabulary), I’ve been obsessed with the power of language. Over a 30+ year global career as an applied linguist, author, and senior editorial strategist, I’ve transformed raw ideas, unpolished transcripts, and complex expert knowledge into published books, engaging narrative guides, and high-impact executive communications. Whether ghostwriting a long-form book for an industry leader, managing end-to-end editorial lifecycles for commercial publishers, or crafting persuasive business content, I specialize in capturing an author’s authentic voice while structuring their ideas for maximum readability and narrative punch. Recent Executive & Publishing Highlights: * One Button Publishing: Directed end-to-end editorial and production lifecycles for complex commercial book projects, managing author pipelines and integrating fresh research into established narrative frameworks. * Happy Self-Publishing: Served as Senior Editorial Consultant and Developmental Editor, transforming complex non-native and academic drafts into fluid, highly engaging prose for broad international audiences. * Executive Ghostwriting (including CEO and entrepreneur Russell Sarder): Collaborated closely with high-profile CEOs and business leaders to distill proprietary frameworks and personal stories into published books and authoritative educational guides. Living and working as an international corporate consultant for over 30 years, I’ve guided executives across the globe in concise business communication, persuasive presentations, and high-level editorial strategy. Along the way, I’ve visited 41 countries and 49 of the United States (can you guess which one’s missing?), and attended 11 consecutive FIFA World Cups—a journey detailed in my book: Soccer Giants of Brazil: One American’s Take on Samba Soccer Culture. What else have I successfully authored, ghostwritten, and created? * Dozens of published eBooks and full-length books, with a strong focus on self-help, personal development, and business leadership * A 180-page Master’s degree thesis on executive presentation skills, complete with practical frameworks and testimonials * Popular professional courses (Power Up Your Presentation Skills and Working with Americans), including workbooks, slides, and bibliographies * A 100-page educational joke book for English learners in Taiwan * Executive corporate communications, promotional materials, sales copy, and high-converting resumes/cover letters What story, book, or guide do you need to bring to life? I can help you write it better, structure it smarter, and deliver it on schedule. Let's talk now!
