With Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and Political Science from the George Washington University, I have over two decades of working experience in the areas of business development and solutions; customer relationship management; print and broadcast journalism; creative writing; editing; proofreading; production of organizational and online media content; public speaking; voice-over experience (both as an instructor and talent). I have extensive business development and solutions experience, which includes market research analysis, customer relationship management, sales, and cold-call telemarketing. I'm expertly able to get past the gatekeeper to reach the decision maker. After making the compelling case for the prospect to use my client's goods/services, I'm able to overcome objections. After that, I "seal the deal." As a voice-over talent, I've recorded narrations, training videos, and radio spots for companies, organizations, and the government. My most cherished accomplishment is performing radio spots for former Secretary of State Colin Powell's "America's Promise" organization, which assists and inspires youth to have better, more fulfilling lives. And as a voice-over instructor, I've taught individuals one-on-one and groups to maximize their vocal potential to convince, persuade, and perform much more effectively in the workplace.
