Business Systems Architect | The Hard Part First, Before You Build
You paid for a system. Your team went back to the spreadsheet. Now someone quotes you a new one, and the build starts with the easy screens. The hard part shows up in month two, when you've paid for half of it and stopping costs more than going on. I start with the hard part. In the first week we define the plan, and inside that plan I take on the part most likely to break, before anyone quotes you a build. If it can't be done, you've lost a week instead of a quarter. What I find is yours, whether I build the rest or someone else does. You can run as fast as you like with a blindfold on. You just don't get to pick where you end up. Let me take the blindfold off before you run. WHERE I WORK - How leads come in and where they came from - How a quote becomes a job - How the work gets done, tracked and finished - How it gets invoiced and paid - What you can see when all four are talking I work in Airtable, AppSheet, HubSpot, Make, and Power Apps with Power Automate. Which one depends on what your team will open every morning. For a clinic working across several states, with roughly 20,000 patients, I made AppSheet the only place that decides where each patient stands on their certification. HubSpot sends the reminders and never works that out for itself. Two systems can't disagree about a patient when only one of them is allowed to decide. After week one, the build goes in steps, each one quoted before it starts. You can stop at the end of any of them, and everything built is yours. Message me with what you're running and the part you'd rather not meet in month two.
