Akshay P.

Senior Full-Stack Developer (Angular | Node.js | TypeScript) with 8+ years of experience building scalable, production-grade web and mobile applications. Recent work includes architecting a dynamic fee and tax calculation engine used across both a web portal and a mobile POS app — handling complex, condition-based logic across product types, time-of-purchase rules, promotions, discounts, and refunds, with integrated payment processing via Payrix (now Worldpay). Also built a scheduled report-builder system enabling users to generate recurring daily/weekly sales reports with flexible aggregation options (by date, sales type, or discount breakdown), giving stakeholders on-demand insight into event and sales performance. Comfortable owning projects end-to-end, from architecture through deployment — with hands-on expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for containerized, scalable delivery. Core stack: Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, with strong API design and microservices experience across fintech, retail/POS, and reporting domains.
