About Me: Hi, I’m Dustin DeCusatis, a licensed CPA with a Big Four audit background, and over 20 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, and corporate finance. Since 2022, I’ve been providing fractional CFO and Controller services to small to medium-sized businesses, including 501(c)(3) not-for-profits. My passion is helping businesses gain visibility into their financial operations so that they can make smart financial decisions that drive long-term success. What I Do: I offer hands-on, personalized fractional CFO and Controller services that go beyond surface-level support. I specialize in reviewing, refining, and optimizing accounting processes and systems to establish a solid financial foundation. From there, I help implement or improve processes for budgeting and forecasting (including three-statement models and cash flow projections), financial analysis, unit economics analysis, month-end close, and internal reporting; and then I own these processes going forward. Every deliverable and recommendation is tailored; no cookie-cutter models, no one-size-fits-all advice. I bring a dual background in accounting and finance, meaning you get a single trusted partner for all your financial needs. Depending on your needs, I can either lead and mentor internal staff or directly handle day-to-day operations. While I don’t prepare taxes, I have a solid understanding of the tax landscape and can partner effectively with your tax preparer to ensure smooth filings and identify tax minimization strategies.
