Hi, my name is Jorge Luis Rodríguez González, I'm a System Engineering student at the Universidad de Los Andes. I've been a programmer since 2015, both in and out of university, working extensively with C, C++, Go and Python. I've worked with different Golang frameworks and SDKs including Chi, Gin, Gorilla Go's Couchbase SDK and AWS SDK. Mostly building either Microservices ecosystems, web applications or API services. Most of my Python projects so far have been focused on automation of process with scripting solutions, web-page development with the Django framework and desktop application development with PySide2(Qt). I have desktop development experience on Windows using C++ with the Qt framework. But I've also worked with C++/C in all kinds of different endeavors, including creating functions for server-less applications, client-side development and code efficiency improvement. While at both the university and in the field I've gained knowledge on algorithms and data structures design and analysis, which I've used to improve the design of my solutions, making them as fast and reliable as possible. Working mostly with teams distributed around the world I've become very proficient with the VCS Git. I'm very passionate about software development, and I really like to learn new technologies and concepts while gaining experience on the field.
