I am a skilled and experienced creative writer in fiction, non-fiction, academic, and technical styles. I have authored and published eight novels across different genres, one partially fictionalized memoir, and one non-fiction book. In addition to my ten books, I have also helped develop, proofread, edit, and publish over two hundred other books, which include twenty fiction and seventy-four nonfiction, including eight general nonfiction, ninety-three business-related, six self-help, four memoirs – plus 12 collections of poetry, nine children’s books, and one book of photography and poetry. I was born and raised in the United States Midwest and later lived in various cities on the West Coast and the Deep South. I have eight adult children, sixteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. My education includes undergraduate degrees in Liberal Arts, majoring in English, Computer Science, and Engineering, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. My professional focus has been working as an information technology consultant, designing data-driven business solutions and building descriptive and predictive analytics models for companies worldwide. My work has allowed me to travel broadly and spend significant time living and working in North and South America, Europe, Africa, India, Australia, and Asia. I also hold a USCG Master Captain’s License with a Sailing Certificate, have worked captaining oil rig supply boats in the Gulf of Mexico, sailed extensively, and have studied and practiced zen for over fifty years. I now live in the mountains of California northeast of San Francisco and am semi-retired. I have a Thai wife and also spend some time at our home in the mountains of Central Thailand, where I write, edit online, and run a small farm with my wife, on which we grow tamarinds, mangoes, bananas, limes, tapioca, and pepper, and manage our rice fields in a nearby valley.
