Doreen M.

I'm a highly experienced editor/writer with a 30-year career in journalism, communications and book editing in the United States and Canada. A "grammar guru" to my numerous young proteges over the years, I understand the rules inside-out but also know how to make your words sing! My breadth of experience, familiarity with tight deadlines, and firm grasp on the mechanics of writing ensure that whatever your project — blog, report, book or ebook — you can count on me to help you present writing that is crisp, clear, accurate, and a pleasure to read. I have degrees in journalism and English literature and additional credentials in public relations and publishing. I have edited more than 65 published titles and enjoy editing fiction in the fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction and young adult genres, as well as memoirs and books about travel, nature, and social justice. But there aren't too many subjects that I haven't written about or edited. So let's talk about your project!
