Matthew K.

Welcome. I'm a creative writer, tireless proofreader, better-than-average editor, and former journalist with bylines around here somewhere. The short version of my pitch is this: I have experience doing research, conducting interviews, and weaving facts, feeling, and public opinion into compelling narratives. Though this is a transaction, I believe in the power of writing to influence the human mind and its cognitive processes. This passion shapes every project I'm take part in. You can find me in Greater Greater Washington, The Daily Muck (until they close the site down), From Day One, The Washington Post, and probably on Substack. I once produced content for Washington City Paper, but it was paid content for one of DC's most popular gentlemen's clubs. Still a great article, if I do say so myself. Hit me up and let's write (or edit) some content.
