1:1 Public Speaking and Communication Coaching with Rebecca
I help industry leaders refine their presence, strengthen their influence, and communicate with clarity and confidence. Through a strategic blend of vocal techniques, body language, and message alignment, I empower clients to align their presence with their resume in an authentic way. My coaching style is playful, firm, supportive, and driving. I first help you to paint a vision as to where you want to get to and your communication potential. I then give you simple, tactical, and effective techniques to help you achieve your communication goals. The foundation for my techniques is authenticity. I make sure that whatever techniques I teach you amplify who you are and the gift you're here to give the world. I work with clients 1:1 remotely in the SF Bay Area. I also have an online public speaking course that now has over 7,000 students and close to a five star review. I offer engaging workshops, in-person and online, and keynotes. I thrive working with aware and ambitious professionals who seek profound life changes through working on their public speaking and communication. I am an annual Visiting Professor of Practice at Middlebury College and have coached for Stanford Graduate School of Business's class "Acting with Power." I was also a Visiting Professor at UC Hastings Law. I hold a master’s degree in acting from The National Theatre Conservatory at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and and am a graduate of Middlebury College. I have expanded my expertise in facilitation through studies in Psychodrama and Gestalt Therapy at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. Here's what clients have to say about my work: "Rebecca - you are awesome, what you are doing is so important and it can have a transformational change for your clients/students. I am forever thankful. I gave a talk to a 200+ audience at IBM yesterday and two people later told me that I am an amazing communicator. The tools you provide - things like start slow, stretch the words, eye contact, observe the audience and room before you start are fundamentally game changing." Jitesh Shetty Co-Founder/CEO Credible “Rebecca is an expert coach. Her clients will know the difference she's made not only in their work but in their life.“ — Teresa Velasquez, Vice President of Admissions, Consulate Healthcare "I was searching for a public speaking coach to help me get over feeling nervous and anxious speaking in front of audiences for an upcoming business conference. I'm happy to say that the tools and skills Rebecca taught me along with the coaching she provided were highly effective and I was able to participate in the conference feeling at ease. This is a huge improvement for me and I look forward to working with her more in the future." — Blossom Wright, Freelance Project Manager for Film, Music and Web Industries “Rebecca has really helped me grow as a person and a professional. Having this under my belt, has given me confidence that I can speak in front of crowds and do so successfully without appearing nervous or rushing through the material. Being able to do this opens up doors for me in my career that I have shied away from, trying to avoid public speaking. I may never totally enjoy public speaking but it no longer controls my life and my choices about my profession. It's a great feeling to no longer have this anxiety that would plague me for even the smallest presentations.” — Cathy Dietzen, Director at UCSF Medical Center “Rebecca has a natural ability to tap the potential of teams. I’ve seen her work with diverse, and seemingly disparate combinations of people and bring them to a high level of cohesion and bonding. I recommend Rebecca for businesses looking for professionalism coaching and team building.” — Lauren Elliot, CPCC, Executive Coach
