Educational & Training Video Editor | DaVinci Resolve | Multicam
I'm a video editor specializing in educational and training content, technical/programming tutorials, and podcast production, working primarily in DaVinci Resolve Studio. My current work centers on turning raw footage, screen recordings, and narration into polished, professional educational videos. That includes multi-camera sync, color correction and exposure matching across camera angles, dialogue cleanup that preserves a speaker's natural delivery rather than making it sound scripted, and building titles, callouts, and motion graphics (including Resolve's Fusion page) that reinforce technical content without overwhelming it. I'm comfortable with technical subject matter specifically, including programming and open-source topics, and I bring real hands-on context to that work: I've been running Linux for about 10 years and mentor two robotics teams, including one coding in Python. Podcast editing is where I started and remains a core strength. I've edited 100+ episodes across shows like Linux Out Loud, SUDO Show, and Destination Linux, handling everything from syncing multi-track audio and video for 3-4 speakers to building chapter markers and EDLs, cleaning up problem audio, and maintaining consistent branding across a season. I know how to protect a show's natural energy and chemistry while still delivering something polished and publish-ready. What I handle for a typical project: Multi-camera and multi-track audio sync Color correction and consistent visual grading across sources Dialogue and audio cleanup, noise reduction, and leveling Motion graphics, titles, captions, and on-screen callouts Chapter marking, EDL creation, and timeline organization Thumbnail creation and visual branding I work independently on tight, consistent schedules and communicate clearly throughout a project rather than needing to be chased for updates. A lot of my recent work is under NDA, but I'm glad to share public samples and walk through my process on a call or via a trial edit before you commit to anything larger. If you're looking for an editor who can take raw material and turn it into something genuinely watchable, whether that's a training course, a technical YouTube channel, or a weekly podcast, I'd love to talk about your project.
