I am 12 years experienced Wordpress,Woocommerce & PHP OOP developer who knows wordpress to it's tiny corners and is flex for modifying each theme and plugin according to your requirements, not telling about building them from scratch. To realize none standard tasks I create child-theme and add new functions there. For plugin building I use PHP OOP. While coding I keep PSR-2 standard and make comments of each function and logic , mentioning what kind of arguments they get and return Last plugins that I have created are “Flex Popup”, "Last Seen Products" (available in bitbucket.org). What about woocommerce and its hooks – they are my everyday tasks. While working on frontend I use Bootstrap CSS v4, animate.css , hover.css for making layout attractive . I use perfectPixels to compare my html, css with your design or psd. I am 8 years experienced PHP OOP developer , I want to share with my strategy of coding . that is avoiding overused if… else … and loop chins , declaring variables, functions which names say much about its usage, making clear comments about the actions which seems even a bit curious and finally keeping PSR-2 standard to have readable code and feel comfort while reading and writing. I also use git while working with team or just for me to keep my code versions.
