Donna Mae F.

My name is Donna Mae. I have a BA in Screenwriting with 11 years of experience with the written word. My work ranges from creative to technical with a focus on precise storytelling for your audience. I have written... ...blogs for small-business owners. ...video and podcast content for Discovery Channel. ...technical e-mails for YouTube, Google, Facebook, and Twitter. ...coverage for scripts at NBCUniversal and Cinequest Film Festival. ...screenplays that have screened at film festivals across the nation. Kind Words-- "I’ve admired Donna’s scripts for years, and have long envied her agility as a writer. Her characters are funny, melancholy, and vital. When I wanted to create a script for my next film, I reached out to her to craft and complete the first couple of drafts. We worked together on my story, and she made sure I had a script in a fraction of the time it would take me on my own. Now that I have it in hand and can mold to my voice, Donna has worked as a coach and editor to get me through the final stages. I probably would have let the project wallow, if not for Donna’s skill, support, and kindness. I cannot recommend her highly enough for any project you want to develop." - Tony Jonick (Kingfisher Talking Pictures) "Donna Mae's impressive skill and talent is the conceiving of and the writing of sharp and compelling stories for the screen. She has a baked-in talent for it. I've seen it firsthand. I'd venture to say that she has the chops for whatever you're looking for, as well as, and the stream of consciousness to get it done quickly and creatively. I've optioned two of her script and produced one, "Happy Goat." That's the ultimate praise I can give her, is it not? I highly recommend her." - Leo Maselli (UVA Films) If you're interested in working with me, let's chat!
