I earned my Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2016 from the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and after a year of internal medicine training at a major academic university, I decided to pursue my true passions of writing, education, and research. I have since worked on a wide variety of projects across the medical landscape, including independently developing USMLE question banks as the Director of Medical Writing for ArcherReview and spearheading the creation of extensive educational materials (e.g., powerpoints, website copy, brochures) and regulatory documents (e.g., new drug applications) for several large pharmaceutical companies such as Johnson&Johnson, Moderna, and Altathera. In addition to these larger tasks, I have thoroughly enjoyed assisting students and future medical providers in developing strong personal statements and applications for medical school, residency, and fellowship.
