Interactive Installations & Kiosks | Kinect, Arduino, Touchscreen, VR
Your installation has to run for nine hours in a public space with nobody watching it. That's the actual problem — not the Unity build. I develop interactive kiosks, Kinect installations, and sensor-driven experiences for events, exhibits, retail activations, and brand launches. Touchscreen applications, motion-tracked games, Arduino button and sensor rigs, computer-vision photo experiences, and VR demos — deployed on real hardware, in real venues, running unattended. WHAT I ACTUALLY HANDLE - Kinect and camera-based body/pose tracking, calibrated for unpredictable lighting and foot traffic through the tracking volume - Arduino and serial hardware integration — physical buttons, sensors, relays, custom rigs - Unattended kiosk deployment: auto-start, watchdog recovery, locked-down OS, no exposed desktop, no popup interrupting a session - Attract-loop design and clean session reset when a visitor walks away mid-game - Touchscreen and multi-touch interfaces built for first-time users with no instructions - On-site setup support TYPICAL PROJECTS - Product-launch activations where visitors interact with a physical installation - Trade show and exhibition stand games that pull crowds and hold attention - Self-service kiosk applications for retail, hospitality, and information display - Museum and experience-centre interactive exhibits - White-label technical production for experiential and event agencies HOW I WORK Unity and C# are the tools. The engineering that matters is everything around them — hardware reliability, failure recovery, and the fact that the person who booked the venue cannot be on site debugging. I work with agencies and production companies as a technical partner, and directly with brands and venues. Full delivery from concept to on-site handover, or dropping into an existing build. Send me the space, the hardware you have or want, and what the visitor should walk away having done. I'll tell you what's realistic and what it takes.
