Dan T.
Writer, Editor, Content Strategist
I'm an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in more than 100 publications, including Newsweek, Popular Science, Family Circle, Wired, Parade, Playboy.com, Consumers Digest, Men's Health, Women's Health, and a passel of technology rags and Web sites like CNET, Mashable, Huffington Post. Really, I get exhausted just thinking about it. In December 2013 I joined David Pogue's team at the spiffy new Yahoo Tech site, which launched a month later. In June 2015 I became its editor-in-chief. In February 2016 I was told my services were no longer needed because Yahoo had shifted direction (for the 3,247th time) and was going to fold the Tech magazine back into either Yahoo News or Yahoo Finance. Lovely. Today I am back to the thing I love best: Writing. But I am also open to editing, consulting, analysis, and teaching opportunities. I figure I must have learned something worth knowing in my 327 years in this industry. Also: Intercourse Upwork's service fees. This service is of zero value to me. Specialties: writing, editing, analysis, social media, public speaking, sarcasm.
