Sahngmie L.

With a B.A. in English from Harvard and an M.A. in education from Columbia, I have both the education and the experience to take on your writing, editing, and proofreading projects. From college essays to cover letters, I'll help you tell your story and achieve your goals. My specialty is tailoring the tone and style of a piece to convey your brand not only through the content, but also through the writing itself. Whether you need a resume, an individual bio, or an About Us page for your company website, I know how to craft a compelling narrative that will engage your readers and lead to success. As both a writer and a proofreader, I am meticulous about correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and I will expertly edit your pieces for fluency, consistency, and style. In addition to the projects mentioned above, I have worked on everything from personal statements and marketing reports to children's literature and novels for Amazon Kindle. Whether you prefer a more professional tone or a more conversational approach, I will match your voice on any project and make your piece sound polished, engaging, and grammatically perfect. I am also passionate about teaching and have worked as a full-time English teacher not only in the U.S. but also in American schools overseas, including the American School of Paris and Shanghai American School. I would love to help you or your children in any subject related to literature, writing, reading comprehension, or grammar, and have decades of expertise in guiding applicants through the college admissions essay process.
