Business Plans & Financial Models | Strategy | Ex-Accenture

Business plans and financial models for high-stakes readers - investors, SBA lenders, banks and USCIS - plus reviews and rebuilds of declined or AI-generated drafts. 120+ plans, $10M+ raised by clients, Top Rated Plus and Expert-Vetted (the top 1% of consultants on Upwork). Most of my clients arrive with a document, not a blank page: a plan their AI wrote, a model built at 2 a.m., a submission they hesitate to send. The question is almost always the same: "Can I trust this?" At that point you do not need more pages. You need judgment - what is true, what the reader will challenge, what has to change, and whether the case is strong enough to proceed. Keep your AI. I'm the judgment layer. AI and a $500 plan writer can both produce a document. Neither can tell you that your pricing does not survive your own cost structure, that your hiring plan contradicts your cash flow, or that the market you picked is the one your competitors are leaving. That is not writing - that is understanding a business. It is what I did at Accenture for corporate clients, and what I have done for 145+ owners and founders since. What you are paying for is the thinking - and every engagement below shows it in writing, as a Consultant's Memo: one to three pages of what I actually think about your business - the risks I would not write into a document meant to persuade, the assumptions I would test first, what I would change before you commit money. It is the part a template writer cannot produce. Background, in numbers: ex-Accenture Strategy Manager; career across Accenture, Allianz and State Street; executive education at INSEAD and Kellogg. On Upwork: 145+ jobs, 4,600+ hours. My plans and models have supported investor rounds, SBA loans, bank financing and immigration filings. Day to day, I also product-manage AI-moderated research systems for a category-leading B2B software marketplace. I know where AI output breaks - finding it is my day job. I approach the document as a consultant, not a template writer. Market evidence, positioning, operating model, go-to-market and financial assumptions must support one another - and survive questions from the person making the decision. WHERE I HELP You have a plan and do not know whether it holds up โ†’ Business Plan Review You need an investor, SBA or bank-ready plan โ†’ Business Plan + Projections You only have a high-level idea โ†’ Business Idea Check Your business is at a turning point โ€” relocation, expansion, restart โ†’ Growth Plan You need market research before a decision โ†’ Market Research & Competitor Analysis You are preparing an E-2, L-1 or EB-5 filing โ†’ Immigration Business Plans You need numbers you can defend line by line โ†’ Financial Model You were declined or received an RFE โ†’ Rescue (start with the Diagnose tier) You want a senior second opinion before committing โ†’ Consultation For selected clients I also work on the decisions behind the document: pricing, go-to-market, operating model, market entry, execution priorities. You are hiring a consultant who writes โ€” not a writer with a template. HOW I WORK Async-first: structured intake, written deliverables, defined revision rounds, recorded walkthroughs. Calls happen when they materially improve the outcome โ€” not as a default. I use modern tools to remove the slow mechanical work, which is why my prices are a fraction of a consulting firm's and my turnaround is days, not months. What no tool removes: deciding what is true, what your reader will attack, and what the business should actually do. That part is mine, and I sign my name to it. We agree the scope in writing before work begins; you receive editable files with every assumption visible. Scope, price and delivery date are agreed in writing before work starts. If a deliverable misses that scope, I fix it at no charge. No meetings are required to complete any tier. If you already have a plan or model, send it with one sentence: who will review it, and where you are stuck. I will tell you straight whether you need a review, a rebuild or a smaller intervention.
