Sharon S.

Why choose Sharon? I am who many say is their "go to" person for genealogy puzzles. When someone is stuck, they call me. Over 40 years I have become an expert at finding deceased family members who seem to not want to be found. Through the years, I have attended classes and workshops to further my knowledge in areas of family research. I have also been the teacher, sharing my knowledge with others. Genealogy is what I do for work and for fun. I have a vast knowledge of migration patterns, the effects of American historical events that drove people to certain areas. I utilize many online/offline search resources, but my number one resource is my brain. My work background: •Fraud investigator at a major bank, including managing the fraud team. •Legal assistant at a law office, providing detailed legal research. My Upwork services: •Locating deceased family members, and compiling family tree. •Locating living relatives or friends. •DNA Adoption searches and support. •Family story compilation (interviews, document research, etc.). •U.S., Native American, Norwegian, and French Canadian research. •Heir searches for settling estates. •Provenance research.
