Outside of design, I work full-time as an event manager for USA TODAY NETWORK, specializing in event operations for large-scale consumer expos with b2b vendor relationships. I hold a BA in Business & Organizational Communication with a focus in Public Relations. My background includes five years of marketing, design and event planning experience in the nonprofit sector and four years in the corporate world. EVENT PLANNING I specialize in both virtual and on-site event planning, ensuring seamless execution behind the scenes. From coordinating large-scale expos to managing intimate celebrations, I’ve handled budgets exceeding $1 million, streamlined logistics, and developed systems to keep everything running smoothly. My expertise extends to special permits, vendor relations, and onsite ticketing, allowing me to tackle challenges with ease. Whether it’s creating memorable experiences or solving real-time problems, I bring passion, creativity, and efficiency to every event I coordinate. WRITING/DESIGN My expertise includes creating brochures, business cards, digital media, event invitations, flyers, postcards, print layout design, self-mailers, newsletters, and more. I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and Canva Pro. While I have intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, I primarily build my designs in Illustrator and InDesign. I also have experience in copywriting and editing content for marketing materials, social media, newsletters, and resumes.
