I've worked with architectural, structural/precast, MEP/HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and Audio Visual documentation — including my recent experience with an Australia-based AV company. I believe this ability to learn and adapt is one of my strongest advantages. When I encounter a new software package, technical system, drawing standard, or project requirement, I don't rely on someone to teach me every step. I study the requirements, understand how the system works, and apply what I've learned to produce accurate documentation. I am comfortable with unfamiliar projects. I've worked with different clients, industries, project requirements, and international standards. My experience includes Australian Building Code, Eurocodes, US State Codes, US ADA Codes, PCI and SMACNA. I pay attention to the details that matter. I've been assigned quality-control and checking responsibilities, reviewing drawings produced by other remote drafters and identifying discrepancies before drawings are issued to clients. I understand that good drafting is more than making a drawing look correct. A good drawing needs to communicate technical information accurately, follow the required standards, coordinate with other disciplines, and ultimately work for the people who will use it. I am also comfortable working remotely and independently. I have extensive experience working with international clients and remote project teams, managing deadlines, coordinating revisions, maintaining organised project documentation, and communicating technical issues when clarification is required.
