I’m a full-stack developer building custom software for startups and established businesses. That can mean shaping a new SaaS product from an early idea, rebuilding a system a company has outgrown, or taking ownership of an existing application and moving it forward. With new SaaS products, I’m often involved before there’s a finished technical specification. I can help work through how the product should function, how the data, users and workflows fit together, what makes sense for the first release and how to leave room for it to grow, then take it through development, deployment and ongoing maintenance. With established businesses, the challenge is often different. They may have years of spreadsheets, legacy databases, disconnected tools or software that no longer matches how the company actually works. The useful part isn’t simply rebuilding the same thing with a newer interface, it’s understanding what still works, what doesn’t, what has been learnt over the years and what the business actually needs from the replacement. I work across the full stack and I’m comfortable owning an application beyond the initial build. That includes technical planning, database design, backend and API development, frontend development, authentication and permissions, payments, third-party integrations, background processing, deployment and continued development once the software is in production. Over the years I’ve worked on a wide range of software including accounting and CRM systems, training and scheduling platforms, property management, subscription products, client portals, reporting tools, document workflows, automation and AI-backed applications. Several systems I originally built are still in production years later and I continue maintaining and expanding them as the businesses using them grow.
